Nevada Electric Highway

Thanks to the Nevada Electric Highway, it’s easier than ever to drive an EV on Nevada highways. A joint initiative between NV Energy and the State of Nevada, the Nevada Electric Highway is expanding the state’s EV charging infrastructure to support and encourage electric vehicle ownership. When completed, the Nevada Electric Highway will allow EV drivers to travel the 450-mile route from Reno to Las Vegas with charging stations all along the way. These state-built charging stations are free to use for the first five years that they’re operational.
